DISCLAIMER: I'm not a drone expert. In fact, this is my first time flying one. These are just my notes from researching pros on Youtube. Let's start the article.
Big shout out to my idols, @janandann and @zoeandczartravels (subscribe to them on Youtube), and @anushkawijesundara, a good friend from my previous startup, for recommending the DJI Mini 3 Pro. I agree 100% with the recommendation. It's perfect for starters and it will only hurt 30% - 50% if you crash it compared to buying a DJI Mavic 3. hahahaha
I instantly researched Youtube to learn more about this model and here are the things I've learned:
Drone Comparisons by Quick Ass Tutorials Youtube: https://youtu.be/9Xje3cqnG-Q
DJI Mini 3 Pro vs Mini 2 by @jevendovey Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOJ7G5nzF8E Advantages of DJI Mini Pro: - It has better quality (not overexposed) for color grading - Anti-crash feature - Active Tracking - automatically follow the subject - Vertical orientation - Better battery life. 47 minutes compared to 30 minutes

Things You Should Know Before Buying the DJI Mini 3 Pro Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jvqlR-6ems - Less noise - Better in low light condition
DJI Mini 3 vs. Mini 3 Pro by @airphotography.ca Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBC9jaqaNBY Difference: - Mini 3 doesn't have obstacle avoidance - Mini 3 doesn't have Focus Tracking - Mini 3 doesn't have Hyperlapse - Pro has a higher quality - Mini 3 has 60 FPS while Pro is lower at 30 FPS since Mini 3 is newer - Pro is better at night because of the higher ISO - Remote preview: Mini 3 (720P) and Pro (1080P) - Battery: Mini 3 is better to due reduced features - Mini 3 has legs for stability and secure the propeller
Fly More Kit - Includes a bag, 2 extra batteries, and the official charger - If you're just starting, buy the regular one at P9,200. The plus one will obviously cost more at P12,590.
You can practice using a simulator to familiarize yourself with the controller. I played with the DJI Virtual Flight. The app was buggy where the control doesn't work properly sometimes. You just have to restart the app.
A drone enables us to see perspectives most of us don't normally see. Time to own one!
I was supposed to buy the device via DJI's official Lazada store because they give free SD card and shipping but I was pressed for time coz I want to try it on my upcoming trip.
Instead, I bought mine at DJI Greenbelt here in Makati City. The staff here are super friendly and they answered all my questions via Facebook.
Buy the DJI Mini 3 Pro on DJI's official Lazada store: https://invol.co/clgi7t1
If you buy at the physical store, you'll need to buy a SD Card. Buy the original SanDisk Extreme Pro according the DJI guys: https://invol.co/clgo5t5 This is why it's better to buy on DJI's official Lazada store if you're not in a rush. It will save you P1,000+ plus the fare or gas money going to the mall.
Better if you buy a Fly More Kit (Bag, 2 extra batteries, and the official charger) - Regular (perfect for beginners): https://invol.co/clgo6b4 - Plus: https://invol.co/clgo6zj
