# Avoid Impulsive Buying

* I won't buy gadgets that won't yield income.
* I won't upgrade if it's still working unless it doesn't do the job anymore.
* 3 Week Rule
  * Before you buy something, wait for 3 weeks before really buying an item.
  * You'll find yourself losing interest in the first or second week if it's not essential.
  * This is to avoid you from impulsive buying coz marketing, ads, and influencers are too powerful in today's world.
  * Trust me. There were so many gadgets and expensive stuff I didn't buy because of this rule.
* Avoid Lifestyle Inflation
  * Your spending INSTANTLY increases as your income increases.
  * You don’t wanna a buy a Porsche then few months later, “poor na pala siya” (From the Pera & Purpose Podcast)
